I maybe buying my first e30 tomoz could you give me advice on what to look for please can you do a visual check on the cam belt rust areas to look at etc. when driving what to listen for etc. your thoughts will be most welcome your thoughts fast please as I havernt a level head at the mo excitement I guess cheers.

It's a 1988 325i e30 with only 66 thou on the clock that's what I drawing me two it the inner arches look pretty solid as the underneath spotted a small hole under seat body work needs some attention but with only 66 thou on the clock it's got to be worth a crack hasn't it more thoughts helpful ones please

Mileage only means something on cars up to 10 years old. Over that, you're still going to have issues with leaks, wobbles and rattles as the rubber components start to break down. On a 66,000 mile car, I doubt any of the owners have bothered replacing any suspension or steering rubbers, brake hoses or bearings.
Spend a good few hours reading the Wiki. Learn about all the mechanical parts, find out where the rust spots are and see what the common problems are. Start here:
