I was on my way home from work on Friday, and got forced off the M62 at Brighouse due to an accident nearer Leeds. on my way through Mirfield, I saw an E30 going in the opposite direction, with the plate E30 GH(?). Think it was a cabby, maybe green but went past quite quickly so I'm not sure.
Does it belong to anyone on here?

No. Mine is white. And not a cabbie. Although I do have a sunroof if that's any good?
Two headblenders, couple of bags of MC Hammer, 5 litres of FFF, a 48ft bastard, a box of jumped-up custard and some soggy chimps

The reg. will be E3 OGH, and the DVLA says it is indeed a BMW, first registered in Feb. '93, is green, and is taxed until the end of November.

How did you find that out Brian (if that is in fact your real name?). I'd really like to know, because I'm very interested to see if my Dad's old E30 is still out there but don't know how. His was F499 CWT and was a Lachs Silver 316.

"As it has not been possible to locate your vehicle details, your enquiry has been cancelled."
Does this mean it's payed a visit to the scrap man? And if so could the reg be available again, I'd love to buy it and put it on a Lachs Silver 325i.
Oh, cheers for the info Brian.

Is that possible, would love to know if few of my old cars are still aboutBATTS91 wrote:Off topic but is there any way of finding contact details of a current owner of a vehicle or is this against the data protection act ? Even if you pay the dvla ?

Against DPA unless you're an officer of the law etc.
You can fill out a form and sent it to the DVLA, you have to give a reason why you want to knowadam12345 wrote:Is that possible, would love to know if few of my old cars are still aboutBATTS91 wrote:Off topic but is there any way of finding contact details of a current owner of a vehicle or is this against the data protection act ? So basically, you have no hope of getting the information, unless you have a very valid reason, which you won't (no 'my dad owned it years ago' is not a valid reason).
Seems entirely pointless really.

I was looking for more info on filling the form and people have wrote down they have acquired and the vehicle and want to know the history about the vehicle and thats why they would like the previous owners details and it has worked, wonder if they would give the current owners details of a Nissan Silvia Turbo i owned in 1989/90
