hi all just bought a 318i f reg in standard trim has been well cared for over the years, have had a couple of these before but this one seems to be alot quicker than all previous ones infact its like shit off a shovel anybody know why , as i said its a standard 318i 8O

if it is low miles and been looked after it can make alot of difference as cam wear is an issue, if the oil is kept fresh and clean it will keep it good for longer

Is the engine modded, and can you tell by looking at it closely? Also as said if its low mileage etc would make a difference.

its done 125000 with lots of service history and recent cam belt its not an is but has got k+n panel filter and poss a different cam, found a sticker on inner wing with date of fitment but cant make out what make it is, would these mods be enough to make it quick :D
