James Clarke's old touring, but from what I gather and spoke to people, it has no connection with him now... I might be wrong though.magpie wrote:who's was the tango'd touring ?
Only see it go up once and it didnt go very well from memory.
i saw them trying to get it running and watched when it fired up ,
it was in the queue to race last time i saw it.
looks like it can be a quick car when running good

I thought it would have gone on a few runs but I seen it queing so went to watch, it did a 18/19 second run but something looked like it was wrong so wasnt going for it... Then it returned to the car park and went a bit later on... Hopefully we'll see a return of it next year and see it do some good times.

I was referring to the people who are now involved with it, his friends and family were going to finish it but what I heard was it no longer had nothing to do with them... I may be wrong though like I said as I didnt speak to anyone directly involved with the car whilst there.

Never had a good time at the pod (but the last time I ran at the pod was with the M52 touring with a naffed crank sensor) and it did 15.2.
My best yet is 13.9 on a stock M52 with M50 inlet and M3 scorpion system, car in full road trim, lazy vanos. This was at York. Also was at 8.9 at the 1/8 mile. Consistently runs 14.1/14.2
0-60 on this setup is 5.6 secs

If i had been there when Micks LSD "fell off"
i would have been the fastest up the pod on foot after spying a prized morsel on the floor ?

CR24v??? Where's it all gone?? LOL
You are indeed wrong, Oli and Dexter who "look after" the car now where two of James best mates. I spent a while helping to get it running at the pod after its first paddy, only for it to break on it's next runJim320i wrote:

Did Dips ever take his V8 touring up the strip? I would imagin it give a pretty nifty time and one hell of an amazing sound track
