I went to the Ring a couple of weeks back, awesome of course, and 'earned' my sticker, as such.

Trouble is, should I put the sticker on the car or not? Whenever I see one I always think 'boy racer, probably never been'.

Car (318is) did me proud though, 35mpg+ to get there, and coped with the Ring fine. My laps were a bit slow perhaps, but I had to get home again in one piece...

Put it on the underside of the boot lid.

Like you, decided on the bootlid would have looked fussy.

Bottom right of the rear window. It's in black and is not raised... It's the newer design.. When the shagging blind is up its shadow looks brilliant on the blind itself.

Yeah do it. I have one on a TGA 32ton tipper! I did go there in a e30 though so I'm sure that makes it ok...And if you haven't been you must go before it's banned!

After asking for a sticker at the campervan'thing I nearly asked if she would take it back after finding out it was E6.50! I felt a little bit sick.

It has been sat in my car in it's packet ever since. I don't think it will ever make it on the car.

One of the Sports I looked at, during my search, had the map on the bootlid, which made me examine the car more closely knowing it had potentially been thrashed.

And sure enough, once warm, the bottom end sounded like a biscuit tin full of marbles!!

That little decal, did me a favour!!!

doing a trip to the ring or track days does not mean a cars been thrashed

every car needs to stretch its legs. whats the point in owning an M3 for example? even the low mileage ones that are mint need to have a good run, and a trip to the ring and a run out there doesnt mean its thrashed

if the car did not have a map on the boot lid, would you not have checked the engine over ?

you bay a car based on condition and how it runs, not on the basis of a sticker.

yes there are give away signs to a cars up keep, i'd be more concerned of a car had odd brands of tyres on each corner
