I really dont like the 2 door tourings. The rear window reminds me of the austin allegro estate....

That was exactly what I thought when I saw it...

The M3 tourer on the net that used a standard tourer with the original arches grafted on looked the nuts, I know a couple have been done now.

I suppose it could've looked worse! The only problem is... you just wouldn't want to spend that time and money to make less e30 that weighs so much more thanks to welds, filler and fibre glass
I'll check with the manager

The 3-door Tourings are real , they're the chromie prototypes, think there was 6 made. Used a Golf tailgate, and the rear only opened to the standard saloon boot line.

Dips has one of the prototypes.

I'd have to see it to comment Phil, but one of the beauties of the E30 cab, is that it's a full 4 seater...

Done right, the back window surround could be the rear window surround for the hatchback.
Would be too small a bootlid to be just chopped I reckon...

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure that black one got smashed up the backside, so the owner just hacked the damage off and made the compact, I'm sure I read that its quite a competent track devoted m3 now
