Need to replace my back box for mot, got a mate at sytners quoting me £350 + vat for the OE box!!!
Wanted to keep the car as standard as poss, but working at ecp means I can get a new scorpion box for less than half the oe price!!
Worried it'll be too loud, does anyone have any experience with scorpions on a 325 sport?
Thanks in advance!

If your wish is to keep to near standard then avoid a Scorpion system!! I roll with a complete system and I do like it's idle burble and resonant howl at just over the 4k mark, but subtle it isn't in looks and sound!! Great system for what it is but the OEM system is very good indeed also, so go with that if standard(ish) is your bag

Thanks buddy, I do like the oe sound, but have been leaning toward the scorpion tbh, will be the only mod the car has, and would rather put the money I saved in the fuel tank on a summers day

Would have thought the ECP offered an aftermarket system in the same way that GSF does, theirs is around the £150 mark,I think....

yeah we do a klarius one too, got one in to have a look, looked ok-ish but worried about sound being dissapointing.. for a little more dough I can get a scorpion with lifetime guarantee, as long as I dont sound as ott as the honda civics down the local b+q car park I'll be happy I supposedaimlerman wrote:Would have thought the ECP offered an aftermarket system in the same way that GSF does, theirs is around the £150 mark,I think....

Get the scorpion le-mans. They aint to loud until you hit 3-3.5k ,the dtm ones are louder
How much are the hangers for the scorpion back boxes from yourselves?I just picked up a le-mans one for my m52 but no hangers.

Also the Le-Mans pipes look more subtle. I'm gunning through DTM's and they do howl when wound up....
But looks aren't that awesome with DTM pipes.... Not that I give a damn

I had the same problem and opted for the scorpion le mans system. Some days I love the sound of it and others wish I opted for the OE system. I must say the scorpion does look the muts nuts. The system hangs slightly lower which is a pain for me as I live on a road with speed bumps and scrapes every day!!!

Scorpions sound better when you have the full system as most of the 'howl' comes from the centre box.

Not compared with a back box from BMW I found out recently!! My mate who works there said he quoted me almost cost price...spic wrote:Didnt know ECP could supply scorpion exhuasts... are they exspensive ?
I can give you discount but the performance stuff we sell has tighter margins, so wont be as good as just standard parts.
PM me your car info, is it 2 or 3 piece oe system? Will get you a quote tommorrow mate.

I've got a Scorpion rear box and it's perfect, lovely tone not loud enough to make me (or the missus) look stupid

X5 V8 for thrills, CRV for chills, Range Rover P38 V8 for sooooo much aggravation...
