How to get my E30 lower?

I recently fitted a Jamex -60mm suspension kit to my E30 as the standard suspension was knackered. However the rear of the car still sits really high, hardly looks lowered at all. How can I get the rear lower? I heard somewhere mk3 astra springs may fit?
Thanks for any advice.

How long ago did you fit the new kit? It takes a bit of time for cars to settle down onto new springs.
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is
Not necessarily, I lowered mine on springs as a temp messure and the back sat lovely!
As said above ^, you have to drive the car around for it to settle properly, mine took about a week to sit where it should!

and dropping one of these on springs alone is likely to result in an accident the first time it rains hard.

or drive around with 4 mates.
seriously unless you have 6 pot touring springs on a 4 pot cab then you dont want to go lower. 60mm is already borderline fucking the geometry up. any more and your into council handles and drives like a dog territory.
the only way to properly go lower is to move the suspension pickups upwards a la the late DTM cars.

The kit has been on there for a few weeks now. Its nowhere near as low as I want it. There is still 2/3 inches of arch gap on the rear, I really want to tuck the wheels in the arches a bit more.

get some pics up, sounds like it might be a case of the wrong springs, a -60 kit should sit them right up in the arch, hell a -40 brings them damn near the rear arch.
