I know what you mean, I'll never ever get back the Money, I've throw at E30s over the years.

in new here and really enjoy the forum dont post all the time because im always scanning through the technical section, its interesting reading what people have been upto an how they overcame problems, ive had 15 E30's 16 including the one ive got just now,F plate white chrome bumper 325i convevable mot'd and taxed and my daily driver,

E30 was the first bm i ever bought i still love the driving experience, look, noise and everything else as much now as i did then and ive never had that with a car before, it has more character than alot of cars that are around nowadays an people always compliment it because its good looking, so its win win for me

e30s started with a 320i 2 door daily. Then I got another mostly broken 320i to fix #1, sold 320i, got Lachs 325iX touring, 318i moredoor for spares, 325ix more door (crashed & sold), 325iX diamondschwartz touring personally imported from Austria (now sold).

Lachs 325iX touring is still in the back garden after 4 years of life got in the way of completing the jacking points! Now have a 525iX touring as my daily.

Don't post often but do have a read frequently

Up to 200ish :?

I'm here daily but I have nothing constructive to say.

So we can safely say out of 41000 members we have less than 1% who actually own E30's, how odd.

Pointless thread IMO

There is blatently not 41000 E30's going to put there name down and nor will you get a true understanding of who has/hasn't got an E30 in one form or another.

The way I see it is when they start drying up for sale on eBay then there ain't many left....

PS I have an E30 on the road. 8)
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

It's trying gauge the number of members who have actually got an E30 and still post something, whether it's knowledgeable stuff or utter guff.

I'm beginning to lose interest now in the E30, I cant put my finger on it :?

I am on my 7th e30, having owned 2 323i's, 3 325i's (including a tech II sport with a c2.5 engine conv by sytner nottingham), a 320i moredoor and my current fully restored cab. I love them, and have loved them for 27 years now - had brand new ones and rust buckets, and still think they are one of the best BM's ever made - a masterpiece.

Or who actually read this thread, and can be bothered to reply and add there details?

It's never going to be a true indication of how many members/cars are on the road/still active.

Owned my '83 Bronzit 323i since 1995. Once a daily driver now just for weekend fun.
Have looked for another E30 but not found one worthy of sitting alongside the current fleet.

Been on here for a few years but only really post when I need some info or have something worthwhile to contribute...
Being a colonial, when I am on line, most of you are in bed!!

Great site - wouldn't have got to this point without it.
I only wish I could find such a good site to help with restoration of my '72 2002 :(
Is there a an '02 version of brianmoooore out there somewhere winkeye

I have a 325i touring and have been here a little over a year but look in at least once a week. This is the first "daily" car I've felt confident enough to take on all the maintainance for the keep it reliable and also the first "old" car I've used everyday a large part of that can be atributed to this forum and its active members.

I don't post much and I've only been to 1 meet so far, I really ought to make the effort and be more active.

It's not exactly precise figures but gives an idea, we need 410 E30's to make 1%.

I doubt we will never know what the exact figures are :?
