Alternatively you could look at the engine type number on a flat area of the block, near the LH engine mount.
2 litre starts with 20; 2.5 litre starts with 25.

You have access to satellites that can read an engine tag, through the bonnet??TouringTash wrote:GPS location please.

Well I had a look yester. Ones a four pot and the other a six but both are very poor indeed. Moor brambles than you can believe and the 'owner' is unsure as to wheter he wants to part with them
Will let you know if anything comes of it but here's a question, will a facelift rear bumper fit onto an early chromie?
cheers

No it wont, different mounting brackets.
You can change the brackets though but not an unbolt and bolt on jobbie.

the face lift bumpers are heavier than a tech 1 kit.
i know iv weighed them myself.
remove face lift bumper and fit tech 1 save 1kg.
remove face lift bumpers and fit drilled out metal ones or fiber reps and save big weight!
