I guess they are rare. One came up on ebay relatively recently. Well, it was last year.

No idea what it went for in the end.

Quite fancy one myself.

I've got one! :D

They aren't a BMW part but an American aftermarket part. I don't know who the manufacturer was though as I didn't find any identification on mine.

IIRC, mine cost me £350 inc. shipping. That was when it was nearly $2 to the £ though. Must be 2 years ago now.

Dips did have one at one time, don't know if he still does though. He wasn't bothered about selling, as I recall, but would have if he got a good enough offer. Something is telling me he was talking mega-money, though, as he was well aware of what I paid for mine and his is both in better condition and comes with a shade/blind which mine doesn't.

They do come up on American eBay, but not often, and it's even rarer that the seller is prepared to ship outside the USA. I would guess that $500 + shipping is a reasonable price for a mint one with the shade.

The vast majority that get advertised in this country are not pukka moonroofs, but (Webasto, usually) pop-outs.

Pic's of mine??? OK then....... :D

Looks quite subtle on a black car, doesn't it? winkeye

BTW, that isn't a crack in it in the interior shot, it's the reflection of my Cyclops cable on the top of the dash.
