Anyone know wether m3's were galvanised, as ive seen one with moss growing on it and wondered wether the body would be rotten or not. Ive left a note in the post box as i want it, looks a beast! also anything i should do to try and start a car that hasnt been started in years? Cheers guys.

Bring a battery with you as the one in it is probably knackered, a can of Easy Start and some petrol.

Check there is actually oil in it before cranking it, you could also try turning it by hand 1st.

I don't think they were galvanised, places to check for rust/rot: front footwells, rear arches, inside the enginebay, check round the mount points for the subframe and check the front and rear subframes themselves.
