They are 14" with another in the boot. I'll wait to get the car back before I decide what is getting punted or kept.

I managed to get the wreck (cat B) back from the insurers for £70, on condition that I scrapped the shell and submitted a destruction cert within a month.

Within said month I stripped everything off it that wasn't bent and the shell and interior (ruined) were crushed.

I've currently got a mountain of iS parts to sort through, some of which I'll be swapping into my new touring and the rest I'll try to sell on if I get organised enough.

Need anything?

Interesting - didn't know you could do that with a Cat B; I was under the impression it had to be crushed and that was that, else I may have tried buying back my Tech 2 Sport.

Sadly, since pranging that last February, I've been Beemer-less, so no need for parts at this present time, thanks. Free bump though

The question is, how fast did he hit the lamp post to do that much damage?

It wasn't 50mph. The M42 doesn't accelerate that fast.

Well if you read the whole thread instead of casting aspersions you might find out by the way it was 40mph

Best that you crushed it.

Getting the tracking right would have been a nightmare...
