Does anyone have a spare expansion tank lying around?? Seems to be a slight leak, I can see some coolant has come out in that region around the cap area and there was a bit of steam on my trip home, however when I cleaned it up and tried to repeat it with the car idling on the drive nothing came out...

Unfortunately we are setting off for the 'ring tomorrow night....

I could collect from near Leamington Spa or Banbury or mates could collect from Chester area.....or anywhere between Leamington and Folkestone

Or further if needed!

As it's urgent tho I think it should stay here! More people will see it.

Perhaps there should be an URGENT section??

You sure it's not just a knackered cap? Easier to get! Check with the dealer, you never know there maybe a tank somewhere nearby!

In 2007 they were £40. Makes the engine bay look so much nicer, especially if you change the washer bottle too. :D

You never know it might be in stock, I've been pleasantly surprised sometimes. Gotta be worth a try!

C3 BMW will almost certainly have one in stock an are south London I think. BMW dealers very unlikely to, but they might be able to find a branch that happens to have one?

You're welcome to take the one off my car for the trip, it's only 6 months old so I know it's good, might be a big detour, but if you're stuck.... Risby, Suffolk, ip28 postcode.
cheers,

harry

For referance -about £40 from dealers, surprisingly they have sport evo wings on the uk shelves and both types of arch liners,

Surprising efficency :D
