what tyre size are people running on 15s?
Moderator: martauto
Not so, a bigger tyre on the rear *can* mean better heat dissipation and greater potential grip.
There are two substantial theorys reguarding this topic, however I seriously CBA with that conversation right now....

On standard springs it should be 205/55, I have got 205/55 on the front and they rub before full lock. the previous owner put 205/60 on the back as presumably they are cheaper.
On the first e30 I had, it had 195/50, was about £200 for a full set of tyres though that was 5 years ago now.
Unless price is no object, For prices look at camskill.co.uk as huge differences between 205/45 and 205/50 for example.

205/50 all the way, a lot better looking and handling than with 205/55's.
lower profile can only look ok when stretched onto a phat rim. otherwise you'll look like you've bought a set of wheels and tyres from a bloke with a slammed innit bruv VW polo

195/45/15 is far to small for an e30, its what i use on the turbo ka, and to be fair i could accidentally inhale one of those wheels.
