I've got an E34 tool kit on my car. Still have the E30 one but being able to keep the triangle and towing eye tidy in the one place instead of all around the boot is nice as it leaves space for other stuff :)

I'm guessing different e30 models got different tool kits as the sparkplug tools are different sizes. Strange that a bulb space wasn't included in all of them, unless it's a pre / post facelift thing.

I think I jus need a spanner and screwdriver to complete mine, I assume I don't need the Allen key thing as I don't have a sunroof, and don't hav the window winder thing as you'd have to strip the doorcard off to get to the motor to use it.
cheers,

haha ! , na its all good mate, at least i had some bits, but they are all nice finishing touches just to have, its nice that money i spend on the car,is just finishing touches/making it complete and mint, rather than thinking i need hundreds for this, and hundreds for that for things like paint and welding or interior bits etc

just need the jerry can and bootlining now

Well I got the Alpina back from the bodyshop again today and it will be looking very nice on Sunday as it's being machine polished with a nice high gloss wax.

I think next job I am going to do is remove my side skirts and Zender rear for that proper classic Alpina look.

I think that long spark plug spanner is for a 318is, so it's probably a 318is tool kit. The other one is for a 6cylinder car.

Anyone know for sure which cars should have the plastic 'windey tool'? I think it's only cars with the blanking plugs on the doorcards, but correct me if I'm wrong.

What is the plastic white thing for? Also, my sport has the toolkit on the left, but also has a plastic box of bulbs and fuses in with the jack with a bmw logo on it so thats probably why they don't have a bulb holder

I found that useful when trying to complete my tool kit. I managed to get missing tools from Quarry Motors (bmw breakers in Sheffield)

That plastic thing is an emergency window crank, which isnt used for e30's according to that link :)
