I am considering this look for my chromie! 40mm lowering on 14" BBS, they are alot cheaper than 15" and I think they look good!
What do you think?

Not for me mate. If you want 14" i would stick with bottletops. Plus bbs are a pig to keep clean so if you sticking the same size then bottletops win in 14's, Thats my opinion anyway

Not worth it IMO. Save your pennies for a set of 15s - they make a huge difference to how an e30 looks, more because of the width and offset than the extra inch of diameter.

Banded steelies are rather expensive, and tyres on top!

Have to agree with the others, not worth it IMHO, keep it on the bottletops till you can get some 15s instead of wasting your money on something you'll want to change again in the near future.
cheers,

I have 14" BBS on the SE and they are a complete pain to clean. i'd rather clean bottletops any day, as on the 323.

15" BBS any day of the week. A good set can still be had for reasonable money.
Get some whilst the price is still as it is. I'd still have 14" BBS over bottletops though. Only get 14's though if they're free.
I'd give you a set if you lived in Jersey.
Uni is killing the project.

That is a good price - you have to pounce on these things when they're available! Caps you can get as and when you have funds, but they look pretty good even without them.

Bottle tops on low profile tyres and slam it.

(I know it'll throw the speedo out, but does it really matter?)
Not in E30s any more
