Diamond black must be the winner??
Simons Alpina touring, Barrys sport, Bumps touring, many others, the nicest E30s i can think of (mine
) all in diamond black- Because E30s wear this colour so well.
Dolphin grey and silver also look stunning, but they dont have the moody green pearl diamond black can give when its polished.

How can you not like Bronzit?? It's a very 80's colour. It has really grown on me I have to say.

I do like Diamond Black, same colour as my E36 325i. Gets dirty easily but looks ruddy good when properly polished/waxed up.SUMPCRACKER wrote:Diamond black must be the winner??

e30's look good in most colours when clean but i have a soft spot for alpine white2 calypso red and lachs silver all 3 off these colours ive had e30's in and each one was special in a different way alpine white 2 was my first e30 you never forget your first e30. calypso red was my £350 beast that was just there to be abused and it was good fun abusing it and lachs silver is my current touring

Bronzitbeige and Luxorbeige are my fave E30 coloursTedswagon wrote:How can you not like Bronzit?? It's a very 80's colour. It has really grown on me I have to say.
My favourite got to be dolphin grey then closely followed by diamond swartz
Lazer Mettalic Blue - Indisputable king of E30 colours.
Metallic Sky Blue is the mans pink.
The greys are too dull too common and too whatever.
Silver looks crap on an E30.
White is wrong on any car.
Black will be stuck with the drug-dealing-gangsta thing forever.
Bronzit is just another word for Champagne.
Neon Green is seriously gay.
Malachite Green is great - if you have a pacemaker.
Red is more gay than Neon Green.
LAZER.

Luxorbeige, bronzitbeige, cirrusblau, diamanteschwarz, delphin, lachssilber, calypso are my favourites. Cabbys also look good in flat blue (Royalblau?) imo. Sterlingsilber is a bit too light a colour imo, and it doesn't have anything interesting about it, though it isn't ugly. White and flat red don't appeal to me at all - white can look so bad if not absolutely 100% clean and polished, and all the reds fade badly. Both are nice if mint, but take effort where the metallics don't as much.
Keep the colour original though, unless you're doing a bare shell resto and so have the option of getting it right.

Calypso Red, Dolphin Grey or Diamond Black on a Tech 2 Coupe. Also Zinnober Red is very nice. But I've only ever seen 325i SE's with this colour, never a 325i Sport.
On a Cabby with Tech 2 I'd go for Lagoon Green (Laguna???), Calypso Red or Lazer Blue.
On a standard e30 post facelift with no bodykit. Glacier Blue. Although I've yet to see one in Glacier Blue with Tech 2.
