Tech 1 Spoiler pics please

Picked up my E30 on friday from A-tech puts a grin on my face everytime I drive it, 318i converted to 325i (thanks Ant)

I've gone with euro styling with an IS lip 35m drop original 15inch BBS but I'm not sure if I should put on the tech-1 spoiler which Ant gave me?

Any pics would help.

Not the best photo, but a colour coded one looks nice. Never seen a colour coded one on a white E30, I think it would look nice. But either way, the tech1 spoiler looks



Anyway, get a tech1 spoiler... best spoiler by far, bar the alpina's bigger beefier version!

Magpie, nice again... but i reckon that spoiler needs a white plastic bit. Oh and if you are intent on keeping those eyebrows, rob a second kidney grill and spray the "squares" white and give that a look. I think it'll look a bit meaner, but white with a black grill is a bit too defining IMO.

Oh, and I love the old E21 alpina wheels! The dish is sublime! Do E21 wheels fit E30's? I remember something about a discussion on it but cant find it... cannot remember the outcome.

How much do tech I spoilers go for in good nick? I have a standard, unpainted lip spoiler, but the finish on it ain't that great and it lets the car down IMO, I think a techI would be a worthwhile 'upgrade'.

Depends. 40 quid for one that would need a spray or touch up. Just try to find one that the back bit is the standard rubbery black. unless you want a colour coded one anyway.

I wouldn't pay more than 50-60 for one that needs the plastic bit respraying. A truly immaculate one that has no marks and original perfect paint, or a newish one, can push to 80-100, if the buyer is wanting it for its colour!

Trouble is the rubber goes naff with age and sunlight, like on my lip spoiler. I'm tempted to ask Cotswold for a price on a new one if they're still available.

It all depends supply and demand, whens the last time you saw one for sale?

Mine is slightly chipped and cracked so am also on the lookout for a new one - may have to join djk in asking Cotworld the price of new
