What do you think of the below:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1986-BMW-325I-GRE ... 7C294%3A50

Not sure what I think, certainly different and maybe an interesting buy for somebody on here??

I'm not a fan, looks too much like a fake m3 to me. Not sure if it would be better or worse with an m3 style boot :?

The phone means you will have screw holes in the centre console once removed. Not sure why you would advertise this as a selling point.

look's good.

but "rare black leather recaro interior"?...............if it's rare in that condition then mine must be even more rare as it's in better condition than that one (& in a better colour).

still....... looking car though.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Its kind of growing on me but the rear bumper doesnt look quite right to me, looks a bit small for the muscular side profile.....unless its just me lol

madaboutthe30, hoping to collect this weekend mate, he is having his private plate taken off so just awaiting him to get the new V5 for it....cant wait to be honest, just hope its not a bag of shite when I get all the way down there lol

all just looks wrong and out of proportion.

the arches look ok, but the bumpers and skirts are horrible.

plus it looks odd from the side and the back. the arches make it look heavy and chunky, but then it's got the standard thin pillared standard e30 greenhouse on top.

i find it very hard to believe it left the factory like that :?
cheers,

harry

The seller is full of shit and clearly knows nothing about E30's.

Factory fitted fibre gash my arse!

The fibre gash wrongness is probably hiding some real horrors rust wise.

Best avoided!

I think you would only seriously buy it if you had the intention of making it look better and more authentic.I like it but i would have to finish it with the right bits that it needs before i would be seen in it :D

A good buy at the price it is at just now - I'd buy it just for the novelty factor!

Saw the first pic from the front and thought....."mmmm, nice"

Then saw the pics from the side and rear and though....."nope, that looks all wrong"

theres another m3 replica on pistonheads that looked tempting also :) i think this one looks better thow, is it just me or is the front bumper a modded tech2 or tech1 bumper? the rear bumper looks like a tech1 which has had the corners built up with filler?

to make that look authentic you'd have to start from scratch. i suppose by chosing that over a standeard e30 shell you at least get the fun of smashing off all the fibreglass crap with a lump hammer before you start :D
cheers,

this rear quater looks creased,
unless it's the light.
it looks more like a tub of filler after a closer look.

the lower swage line in the rear quarter is all wrong, and the front wings, id take it to a ford delaer get my 2k for scrap and buy an new ford ka, but if it floats your boat fair play, ill sell you some proper front wings, bumpers and a boot spoiler in grp that would make it look better than that
