yes im the owner of the 325i touring that i just finished converting to cosworth power everone is slagging off, now thats out the way im wondering if anyone will give me some help in regards to the steering rack ?
4 turns lock to lock is killing me,especially when the back end steps out at every chance it gets !
i heard the z3 or m3 rack will fit straight in but im wondering what other racks have been fitted to improve the steering response ?
i was thinking cosworth saphire ? or dump the power steering and go for a mk2 escort quick rack !
any advice welcome . please make it helpfull though !
cheers guys

Z3 option seems to be the most favourable

you need some spacers where it mounts to the subframe. i found some tall woshers anf filed the hight to fit. 14mm i think. allso the pas pipes need bending as thay atach to a slightley difarent place. mine took 2 hours with pizza
