No, start your own threadRav335uk wrote:can the m30 boys answer too, or would that be considered rude?![]()
the Alpinas power band comes in around 4000rpm. No my lump is from a 525eta an Alpina modded top so just the 12 was thread hijacking.

WTF?! Ive never even come close to losing an none slippered RWD in a straight line.. You just spin one wheel up and go slower
A slippered one is a different beast, had one swap lanes on me in a straight line

sounds like fwd pug has a good 3rd gearJon_Bmw wrote:Do you think you could serve a 205 mi16?![]()
I reckon it would be pretty close, bmw pulls away at the start, 205 reigns it in, then loses it at top end.
When it comes to corners though....

That is the theory i'd go with also..
But in practice the Pug would pull away, then have to call the RAC
I am not sure what gear box Alpina done so not sure if mine has 141mph or 148mph vertion. I doubt the old girl would honestly break 135mph these days an my weight will make a difference.

Back on topic...I think my sweetest win was against guy with a Porsche Boxster. Around 4am I was at the stop light waiting to turn right, talking with the girl next to me. Than he stopped, I looked at him, he was with a girl too, and he started to rev the car. I tought to myself "well i guess we're not turning right here" I reved the car couple times and started to wait for the green light. We raced until the next stop light and I smoked him reaaaaly bad. Than he stopped like two cars behind me, but I putted on reverse, stopped next to him and ask him what engine he has. He said it was a 3 litre but I dont think it was a 3 litre. Than I made a U turn in front of him, going really sideways, and continued where I was going. My friend asked me, how come we were faster than a Porsche, and I said that because it's a Porsche, it doesn't mean it's a faster car
