My name is Lauris Naglins, I’m a photography student at The Arts Institute at Bournemouth and I’m currently doing a personal photographic project about people who buy, build/re-build and are passionate about e30’s.

I’m looking for volunteers for my project who would like to be involved in it in exchange for photographs.

Please contact me as soon as possible via e-mail or phone including details about yourself and your car.

Sounds like a cool project. I'd volunteer as I'm moving to Hampshire in 2 weeks but unfortunately I just seem to 'own' my E30, not re-build or restore it so don't suppose it'd be any good...

Good luck though, I'm sure I speak for others when I say post up the results! :D

Lauris,

Me and a mate are currently turning a rusty old 325 touring in to a track car, including an engine swap. Would be happy to be involved - just drop me a PM and we'll get something sorted (car is currently near Bedford but will ultimately live further north near Crewe).

I'd be happy to help out but the car isn't on the road right now thanks to the DVLA slow coaches. I have a passing interest in photography, I'm based in Soton and my gf's Sister is at AIB so I'd come down if my v5 arrives (so I can tax it). It reminds me that there is a good looking red IS down Osborne road.

Guys

I have a question for all of you. You must be aware of stereotype about BMW drivers that we all are bunch of wan**rs. What do you think about that and how do you cope with it?

I ignore it - all drivers are w"$£$rs until proven innocent.

I embrace it! "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em" and all that!!

No, just kidding! I've never considered it to apply to drivers of older BMWs to be honest, just the newer ones that you see 'suits' driving with their bluetooth headsets glues to their ears. They're the real wan**rs.

Hmmm....now that's an interesting one - you've obviously your car decorated with penises :p (shouldn't have let it get that dusty)

but regardless of what you drive someone will find something to pick on so let them! I know I don't drive this car for the badge, it just so happens to be extremely well engineered and very  . They're all jealous anyways....

at least it's not an E36

so in general e30 drivers shouldn't be called wan**rs

actually! it might be a good name for the project - Not The Wan**rs :)

Hi

I'm still looking for volunteers for my photography project. Is anyone available this weekend who is not more than 100 miles from Bournemouth? I wish I could travel further but my budget is very limited.

Contact me on the e-mail below.

Cheers!
