Just picked up my new touring tonight and have noticed a few issues with it which I was hoping somebody here might be able to give me some advice on?
Slight droning from the car at higher speeds (worse on corners) - I am presuming this is a wheel bearing and cheap to replace?
Used the rear screen wash and water poured in to the boot - presume this is just a loose pipe that must run along the headlining?
Fingers crossed this is all I have noticed so far and I "won't" find anything else.
Cheers,
Peter

The washer pipe runs past the hinge for the boot, Brian Moore says it wears out or can get cut and bodged if the boot is replaced. I would check this area first.
Get some pictures posted, folk on here love that...

The important thing about the pipe to the rear screen is it must go through a little whole in the bodywork behind the headlining and not just under the headlining itself. (Then it is routed around, through a a cable tie on the hinge, then into the tailgate.) This stops the pipe being kinked or split. Yours has probably split. If the washer jet is blocked water will not come out and you must take the pipe off the back of the wiper motor and clear out the jet and the pipe through the motor with some thin wire and compressed air, if you have access to that.
Hope that makes sense. Writing seems difficult today for me.

Check out your left rear cubby for water as well, thats where it tends to end up when the pipe is split. I could have kept fish in my old touring

hello mate,
iv got a 2.5i SE touring myself and have a similar problem tothe washer one you've got. as stated the pipe often gets cut or disconnected. the bottle is located in the left cupboard thing, get a mate to push the button while you look inside the boot.
the droning noise i wouldnt think is with the bearing. . . i recently thought i had a bearing fault but i took it to my mechanic and he said in the 30-40years hes been a mech, hes never had to change a bearing on an E30, but thats not to say they dont go. i checked the handbrake because inside the disk is a drum for the handbrake, that had come apart and caused stupid noises.
hope iv helped and hope you get it sorted.
take care
