Hi guys
Has anyone had any good or bad experiences of the stainless steel exhaust system from the company called LongLife? My nearest LongLife centre is Wallington in Surrey or possibly the one in Basingstoke —a I have been told that certain centres might be a bit naff.
I don't have to have a LongLife system but my 1989 320 cabby (twin piped 2 box) exhaust is probably in need of upgrading to a SS system. I do have a budget I would like to stick to and I don't want to change the character too much of my cabby which is pretty original. What I am looking for is a quality system with a sweet sound etc etc.
Recently when Ant (top man) did some work on my 320 he confirm that a 2 or 3 box would be ok for my cat prepared but non catalytic 320.
If by change anyone has any suggestions then please let me know.
Any decent 2nd hand systems out there for sale maybe (Ant would fit it for me)?
Cheers for now

My nearest Longlife supplier is in Leeds. They quoted me £395 for their S/S system for the 2.7.They also said that they could tailor the sound to suit my preference.Sal(M5pilot)at Evolve reported that he has seen some very good Longlife systems. The only other option at the moment appears to be a Mongoose system which zoners feel may not suit my requirements...I am an old git who requires a performance exhaust that is erm, discreet, rather than 'barry boy'...
