E30 Zone

When a person replaces their instrument cluster (speedo..) with another. But the mileage reading on the new instrument is much lower.

How does someone explain that when the MOT is done... or when someone compares the previous MOT mileages?

Is there anyway to confirm that the car may be unrecorded.

I have the logbook for the car in front of me and cannot see anywhere it say's CAT C/D.

When purchasing any car, does the seller need to notify the buyer if the car is a CAT C/D?

i also had to change the battery this morning, as the other one died on me.

what can i do to make the lights disappear?

Are the service lights meant to stay on, even though the car is switched off?

I believe I got a dead battery, as the car has been parked up for a couple of weeks now and never got round in driving it.

But the problem is how do I get access to the boot to change the battery or jump start the car if I can't get in?

Turn the side/headlight pull switch clockwise, it is also a dimmer for the dash lights.... Just tried that mate, but no luck It seems that the lighting behind the centre console is not working also. for example, the back lights behind the demister, heater controls. all gone. whats going on??/ :cry:

Just the other day I noticed that the dashboard lights have disappeared.

What could be the cause of it?

can't see nothing in the dark no more......

as time goes by, they are coming more rare and they seem to go for some ridiculous prices also
