Gutted for you, the scum that do this have no respect for themselves so find it impossible to appreciate it in others! Anyone who knowingly buys any bits from this vehicle wants processing for receiving stolen goods in short order!

The Uniroyals are a cracking tyre as our Vredestein Sportracs if you can find them. Falken's ZE914 is the best of the cheaper options - the stiffer sidewall helps the E30 chassis IMO. Had a set on my E30 and also on one of my Compacts and they last well. Liking the info, this is proving really info...

I'm looking to treat the Touring to some new tyres in the spring and thought I'd see what recommendations are out there on modern rubber. Currently running Pirelli P6000's but they're getting old now! Also there's an e30 editorial coming up in Classic Car Weekly in the next few weeks and my Touring ...

Donar Door Restoration.
I've just picked up two doors for the touring, a drivers and passenger O/S/R. However the drivers door has the electric window still in place and its closed. I want to strip this door and have it restored before looking to swap it with the current one next year. Any ideas on how to lower the window....

Big sigh of relief it turns out it was the resistor for the blower!
The fan now only works on setting 4 but at least I know it's not going to self combust.

Re: Smoke from the scuttle air intakes.
Cheers speedtouch I'll check into that. Failing that I'll drop the glove box and trim to check the resistor condition as I'm wondering if that's burnt out and caused the smoke and the smell. As an aside I'm definitely not reconnecting the electrics until i've got to the bottom of it though, the cars...

Smoke from the scuttle air intakes.
Started the car this morning and drove it out of the garage and within 20 seconds smoke was drifting from the outside air grills in front of the windscreen. A burning smell was also noticeable. I turned the car off and disconnected the battery. It will be tomorrow before I get chance to have a prope...

It's a privilege to own it.
Last year it had a bit of renovation In Bodymotorworks in Chesterfield, Matt Summerfields Place and then it was detailed by Steve Bostok at A2D prior to my daughters wedding.
A wedding limousine it became!
And there lies another story!

One of the ultra rare 'M' reg. E30s! I would have paid you good money up to a couple of years ago to put my M100ORE plate on, that I inherited from my late father. It's on my E39 towing barge now, and the E30s are on E3Oxx plates. Thanks Brian. If I'm right I think you've seen this in the flesh at ...

HI eko
sorry to hear about the health issue, I started with a gallstone issue in November so I know how dibillitating and restrictive it is when your not firing on all cylinders.
Sincerely hope you get what your looking for with the touring and good luck with everything else mate.

OE BMW every time for me. Gives every bit as much power as any aftermarket system, lasts as long or longer as any stainless kit (there are E30s around still on their original system), and it fits perfectly. Not necessarily cheaper than stainless though. As far as I'm aware mines on it's original sy...
