Re: M40 exhaust options

I don’t think it does have a cat as it was registered on 1st Aug 1992.

Makes sense, I fancy something stainless on the rear for sure.

M40 exhaust options

Hi guys, I’ve got a 318i convertible 1992, the exhaust is rogered and I need from the manifold back, including all brackets. Does anyone have a decent replacement option to the OEM one? (£1300!!!) I’ve been told to steer clear of the replacement parts as they are dire. The stainless steel option is ...

Personally I don’t believe it is, it’s got the flat middle box and that’s all that is under there.

Great, I'll whip the dash / clocks out first and see where that takes me. Does anyone know what battery you need for the panel? i might as well buy one if I'm taking it apart.

I've just stated driving my 318 cab after a long period of no use and the alternator / battery light on the dash is flickering / solid. THe battery is good, its fully charged and new. THe alternator must be charging as the voltage was 13.4v whilst running, therefore does anyone have any suggestions ...

Has anyone bought & Fitted Leatherette seat covers?

I've seen adverts for the leatherette replacement seat covers for the E30 and wondered if anyone had previously fitted a set?

Do they look good or just as sh1t as they sound?

Re: Ready for the Germany trip with new top, rims and coilov

Cheers guys, got to love those German roads!! Have enjoyed the respect I've been getting in the father land in the E30, apparently they didn't do the colour over there hence its often the first time they've seen it. The guy I bought the hard top from was pretty pleased with the way it looked on mine...

Can anyone recommend some decent mats

Hi,

I'm looking for some decent sub £30 mats in black for my E30 Convertible. There are tons on Ebay but I wondered if anyone had bought any that they would recommend as being good quality?

Re: coilovers

I just fitted JOM's and they are not bad, decent drop on the rear, good comfort so far in the 2000 cross Europe miles I've done, would recommend for the price for sure. Ideally I would spend a lot more and get more but its crazy spending more than £500 on suspension on a car only worth say £2000. Matt

Clutch problems 325i

I got in the car on Tuesday after it had been stood for about 2 months and when I put my foot on the clutch peddle it went to the floor with no resistance. It's not like a snapped cable though.

What could it be ?

Slave ?

Lost fluids ?
