1144 are great road pads, and not too harsh on disks and pretty quiet. 1155 are AWESOME fast road / trackday pads, the level of friction is incredible and they dont fade until the disks are actually glowing but they are very aggressive on the disks themselves and are also quite noisey when used very...

To be fair the damage doesnt seem all that bad.. Not good by any means.. If i brought it back here at my own expense (which would be hundreds of pounds and 2 days of time gone) the insurance company may still not choose to sell me the salvage cheaply, its just not worth it sadly. As there was no oil leaking and car was driveable it seemed reasonable to "limp it home" but...

Yeah its a bit gutting not being able to keep the salvage, as that would have easily made my mind up what "ring car" to get next, as i would have got another E30 if i had all those spare bits for it. Not sure what im going to pick now though, probably wont even thinking about it till around new year...

Hello lads, im back online now :D NO oil leaked from my car at all, not one drop, the sump was completely undamaged, as Nick says the only thing that dripped from my car was a bit of water from the engine with a very weak summer coolant mix, and 90% of that ended up right next to the barrier instnat...

Rotrex's are fantastic bits of kit, but a little pricey. SP30-94 on a well specced 325 motor would be awesome though :D As above, they tend to make more boost at high RPM, which IMHO is perfect, because it means you can keep the CR high and dont end up with loads of midrange torque, its a much more ...

Nice pic. How are you both finding the E30 now then? Still fun or have you got bored of it yet? Well, its a bit half and half really, we both quite like the car as a car for chomping up motorway miles and stuff like that, and it handles in a fairly pleasant way, but TBH no matter what we do to it i...

A question for the Tech Guru's but can the cars (e30's) actually automatically map themselves to this high octane fuel (98,99,100 ron) Becuase if it cant then why pay for it? I would be surprised if that age of vehicle does much in terms of advancing the ignition to take advantage of the higher oct...

Ant, you say maybe the cam is retarded, surely you have that the wrong way round? Retarding a cam will move the power up the rev range, not down it. Or am i misreading what you have put? Glad to hear its up and running anyway, the megasquirt "autotune" when attached to a lambda sensor and given a ta...

I really cant believe you lot are still carrying on with this.
