CAT question for Brian Moore (and others)
I'm interested in this process also. I like Brian's idea of removing the cat the old fashion way, (smashing with a pipe). Brian, I have a 2 piece system, does the front section have to be removed from the car to remove the bits of smashed cat, Just seems a hassle removing the front exhaust section o...

Big bore throttle bodies and 3.5 injectors
Can I have informed opinions on M30 3.5 throttle bodies and injectors, do they fit into a M20 2.5 ? is it worth doing and power gains? I'm looking for more beans on a budget, so don't want to shell out £180 on a zone big bore throttle body, will others fit? Also has anyone ever put 3.5 injectors i...

Yes plugs are wet with unburnt fuel after attempting to start her.
Not sure if power at the coil as not tested yet. I'm going to remove the coil off my convertible and try that tomorrow.
Cheers

We have a track slapper and have just changed the clutch. Went to start her up after the clutch change but she's not having it. Battery is okay. Startor motor is turning over. Fuel in the tank and fuel is being delivered as we took off one of the fuel hoses to verify this. We do NOT appear to be get...

Re: Half used pads for track day
Green stuff with zimmerman cross drilleds work well for us on track but then we've only got 170 bhp to reign in, your going to need something a bit more heavy duty I expect !

Re: E30 325 vs Porsche 944 2.7
I've considered purchasing a 944 for a while, having had 5 325i E30's in various shells and a track slag. I have also had an E36 325i (bit quicker but too subtle), and an old skool M535i (E28) with high light cams and powerflow exhaust 240 BHP, fast for 10 miles before you pulled into the next petro...

The E36 2.8 will be faster, they always come past us on track, but the E30 has more cudos.

Re:
We run pagid fast road on the front on zimmerman cross drilled disks and tried green stuff on zimmermans on the back. The green stuff appears better than the pagid pads as the rear will lock up before the front now on very heavy braking, so we are going to change the fronts to green stuff as well. W...
