V8 all the way.Freind of mine is running a 383 stroker in a Monte Carlo.Running 10's (0-60 like 2 seconds) I was quoted 2 k by John sleath,whos an engine builder known world wide,to have my 350 convereted into a 383 with around 350+bhp.soo...?

Yep,at the end of the day if its not doing it in the dry well, then either you need more power or theres a force stopping them spinning, good tyres, susepension setup etc. If you really have to cain the absolute s**t out of it to getit to spin in the dry then its pointless imo, as you will put some ...

So its not paint then mate? If not then the best way is to use a heat gun/hair dryer, but you have to be carefull to gradually heat the paint from a distance as a heatgun on full can damage paint fairly easily. Should come off after awhile though,once its warmed up

Cheers mate. I noticed even with the 1500 it left a few scratches in once i had mopped it.Might try to get somthing finer for a quick rub over like you say. My cars black, would you recomend g10?

Nice thread , as im after something to use on my sills to replace the stone chip look. Halfords have the waxyol stonechip stuff, but its really thin, i wanna re do the sills and paint them before i sell the car to clean it all up
