Re: Cabriolet window/ roof leak
Great information thanks mate. I have been doing a similar thing over the last couple of days but building this corner up in layers using a hybrid silicone. The rain keeps stopping me and I have to run out and close it all up before the stuff has dried. It is slowly, slowing it down. I’ve also been ...

Cabriolet window/ roof leak
Hi guys I’ve had a major leak here that I can’t fix. I’ve got new front hood seal and spent ages today adjusting the front and back windows and I still can’t get a water tight seal. It’s as if the window need to come up higher in the front corners but I can’t get it with out it then fouling the rest...

Re: Running rich next step?
I opted for brand new ones, with the updated pintels. I’m glad I did! Has made a fair difference to car on the whole. I shopped around and ended up getting 5 brand new ones for the cost of refurbing the 6 old ones. I’ve recently had trouble with AUTODOC and I feel your pain when dealing with other p...

Fuel pressure
Afternoon guys. Ive tried searching but can’t quite get to the bottom of it. I’ve been following Bentley manual for fuel pressure tests. Trying to figure out an off idle hesitation. Got it rigged up, jumped the relay and got 3 bar reading. Passed first test. Then with engine idling Bentley says 2.8 ...

Re: Running rich next step?
I’ve reset throttle plate, cable and lockdown cable. Got new injectors, and done valve cover gasket and the rocker arm rubbers. Annoyingly still leaks very slightly near the injectors. Not sure what else I can do about that. Drives a lot better but still got the off idle hesitation. Will test fuel p...

Re: Running rich next step?
Hi, thanks for the reply. The rubber snorkel is off at the moment so I will reattach when I next test. The valve cover was leaking massively yesterday, Worse than when I originally did it, so ordering that. While the cover is off I’m going to send the injectors for service. I shall test the tps next...

Re: Running rich next step?
I inspected the c191 plug and all seems fine. I’m getting good readings at the ecu from the blue sensor. The brown coolant switch also seems to be operating as it should. Other things I have noticed are charging voltage is 13.8 Also when running, unplugging the icv makes little to no difference in i...

Re: Running rich next step?
Hi thanks for your reply.
I shall look for the round plug tomorrow and test.
I have a spare valve cover gasket, so will get it on also at the weekend probably.
What is the fuel enrichment? Is it same as fuel pressure regulator?

Hi guys, Wondering what my next step is to maybe save spending money unnecessarily. So the car was a 320 but now a 325. Last summer was running fine, then started having to crank a bit longer on hot days after a 15 min drive. It’s now got a off idle stumble, blip the throttle and it want to die. Occ...

I’ve added a photo of the hole that’s missing it’s cover.
Thanks

Hi, yeh the drain holes are flowing freely. You can see in the picture the clear ‘button’ I don’t get what that for? But pretty sure it lets water through and into my boot. I’ve copied this from another forum but can’t find anything else on this. “Two specifically are hidden under the convertible ro...

Cabriolet hood compartment leaks
Been trying to find the source of water Ingres in the convertible. The drains in the hood are free flowing. But it look like water is getting in to the boot from there and making under rear seats wet. Soaking wet. There are various bolts and a few plastic buttons for lack of better word where I thin...

Re: Heater matrix pipe
The lower one you get through the grommet hole from the missing lower pipe. On my one at least , the grommet had to come out for the top one. No spanner could get on the top one due lack of space and also the plastic moulding on the pipe. Nightmare, just need to get back to it to bleed and up to tem...

Re: Heater matrix pipe
Okay, yeh remove the two heater hoses, remove the rubber grommet in the fire wall. Pull it out towards the engine bay. Then with some fiddling you can get it on.
My rubber was super hard to get out. Like it had swollen. Won’t quite go back in now, but hopefully no more leak.

I’m not with the car now,
Do you leave that pipe bolted together and take the cover of the heater core off as one?
The heater valve is already out.

Thanks for the reply’s people. The other week I had tried adjusting both windows. I can get the drivers window to where I think it should be. It then fouls the rear window. Cabriolet leaks
Hi all I have a multiple leaks that I try to fix but I don’t seem to get anywhere with them. The worst culprit is the drivers window adjustment. Hi, Sorry for the poor pictures . The hole is perfect hole, looks factory, no rust around it. The second picture is the other side of the hole, where (some) of the water is coming out and into engine bay. Drain holes
Morning guys. Been chasing some leaks on the cabriolet. I’ve ordered new elephant trunk and cleaned the sill drain holes. When looking under the drivers wiper, in the vent I cleared out the corner where the water should drain down. But I notice these holes. 6FB32708-887D-40D8-9391-D1E2CB5FFC66.jpeg ...

Yes removed old lock and rebuilt and replaced.
So you have no where to unlock the door with the key? Is all done by remote locking?

Re: Central locking...
I’ve just had the central locking unit tested and no problems can be found.
Can some one point me in the direction of some information on the unit that sits above the ecu.
I believe this is to do with the alarm? I’m not sure what it’s referred to and am wondering if this could be causing some issue?

Try Changing the matrix.
I would also get new cap and temp sensor as they are not much
I’ve had various coolant problems recently.
I also used some sealing stuff (unwisely) and took me along Time before I was getting heat out the blower. 4 or 5 flushes.
