Genuine is plastic, copies are fibreglass. Also, on a genuine kit he front bumper and valance are separate parts, copies are one.

So long since I drove an E30 without one I can't remember how bad the standard lever is.

Worth a read.

Re: bmw z3 short shifter

There's the Z3 2.8 shifter, that's a lot shorter than the 1.9 version. However I found it too clunky in first and second until the car was nicely warmed up.

Flange face to flange face is 1460mm, no idea whether it’s moved on the splines at all but the collar nut is undone.

Appears to be a 325i one then, assuming you’re meant to measure right up to the end containing the bushing.

Prop shaft Identification

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone could help identify what model of E30 this prop shaft is from? It’s been sat in my mums garage for years and I can’t remember what I removed it from.

It has the following numbers on it, 1101470.3 & 12064823.

Cheers

N57 rough cold running

Hi,

My E92 325d with the N57 engine has developed a lumpy idle a few seconds after start up, which then clears pretty quickly.
There’s no fault lights being generated.
Are there any software experts out there that can tell me how to investigate this issue?

Cheers,
Dave

I'm using an E36 aircon rad. My engine was an early one, but I just changed to the later waterpump.

Only pic I can find to hand.

Check out the Alpine SWD 1600 maybe fit it high up in the front passenger footwell. Re: Ground Zero's

Cheers, Paul, what was the output like from the Pioneer? I've got a sub fitted in the book, and even with the ski hatch removed it's crap. Strangely seemed far better in a previous E30, but that was using a different box. Just liked the idea of one under the seat to regain boot space and hopefully h...

Another cosideration is to run the speakers off an amp, this is what I've always done in E30s and the sound quatlity is really good.

Has anyone here got any experience of underseat active subs?

Think they were fitted to the 325e, both in Europe and the US. Since the UK didn't get that model we don't see many of them.

I'm still not sure what you mean by a plastic bracket. Not sure what you mean by plastic mount, but you can just buy the pump itself and fit it to your existing cradle. Far cheaper than buying the whole lot.
