E30 Zone

Hi all
Have a boost problem . Only fault that came up on computer was turbo pressure valve no joy . Replaced that and air mass and a dud pipe near turbo still no joy . All other pipes seen ok any ideas before car car back in end of the week cheers

Thinking of changing colour of my other e30 its red at the moment but has faded plus needs repairing in places . So was thinking of a change. Looked at pics of yellow and orange e30 's look nice .Any one have one that colour plus Any reason not to cheers

Seen on the wiki page yep have a medium case diff 8 bolts was told out of e30 325 sport 391 lsd . One that in is a 338 6 bolts think out of e36. Which is ok handles the power. It has e36 gearbox 2.8 . Wiki page saying can only move prop 10 m so if it still to short do a buy e36 prop cheers

8 the one in now has 6 bolts tar

Right got every thing ready to have a go doing it my self but it seem that the diff that's in is smaller in length
Than the 391 lsd about 1 inch so can I somehow shorten the prop to make it fit or need a prop as well know cheers

Just cleaned tag on diff it's a 338v5472 so it's not on e30 chart

Smg costly great will look at that can only find e34 right ups cheers

Any ideas of a auto box to marry up to s50 . Yes I'm a lazy driver

Not bad really car grips very well . Just have it sitting here thought il throw it in see what's it's like. Just worried first gear would be useless

I have looked at past posts. I have a 391 lsd and was thinking of trying it in my e30 s50 . Would it be worth it or would 2 gear be like 1st so on think I have 364 at the minute and had it on rolling rd 279 bhp topped out 133 mph any one tried this many thanks

Should istrenghten my trailing arms as I have a s50 engine cheers

Did a bit research . Idle control valve not opening till you hit the gas. Or fuel starvation . Just do what I did find out were and what every thing does on the car . Take out sensors clean them

I have used e36 diesel cooler it fits great and slightly bigger than s50 .still need to relocate it tho it's not in the best place

Ok cheers . I'm just restricted by the the original pipe work as to were to locate the oil cooler. We're it was got damaged. Need it behind bumper I thought was best bet.

True that. Been let down by 3 diagnostic guys today never tuned up or called back. Hopefully got one guy coming out tomo who has got great right ups.

I have tried 2 machanic now and £ 1500 later still not right that's why I'm trying

Right dam thing won't even start now. Fuel pump use to make a noise I can't here that now. Does it come on when car is going or should you here it with one turn of the key.

Got a mobile diagnostics coming out so il see for my self what's showing cheers

Right managed to speak to the guy who fitted the engine. He has replaced the chips in the dme because he said he had trouple geting it to run . He said it is over fueling. I have the old chips.should I get then put back in. Could it be this. Car has been running fine for months tho before this problem

Thanks for that. Il check that. Yeah defo heat related. It's had new air mass & cps. One more thing Im trying is coils .When I think about it it only happend since I've had I bigger rad fitted

Checked pipes best I can only thing I found was the petrol tank beather valve has the larger pipe cut with a bolt pushed into it. Should this run alway back to tank. Plus tried with petrol cap of was worse can ran about 10 min then dead. Waited to cool then all good got it back home. Trying new gara...

True the rev counter only jumps when when car plays up but that might be cos me still on the gas and I'm trying not to stall

Still no joy . Lasted abit longer did the wire bypass .two nuts missing on coil pack plus the ground was under the coil not between coil and nut. Blue relay behind glove box seems burn out taken that out. Ecu is warm but not to hot. There's no vacume when petrol cap is off just sound of pump. I have...

Ok he's replaced cps or so he tells me . Still having trouple with the relaye s most of them have 30 87 on the bottom of them .not sure I did the right one. Taken all of them out one by one to find out witch one was fuel and car still ran
