Re: to paint or not to paint??

The simple answer is - To make a car rusty takes several hours with a grinder and some vinegar, brake fluid, pee pee or whatever, then maybe a couple of quids worth of diesel to stop it rusting more ...close but no cigar To make a car look fantastic with exceptionally lovely paintwork takes LOTS of...

Re: to paint or not to paint??

Right. I like your car, but feel it's saleability will go through the roof with standard paint on. My perception of going for the rat look is that it's the process to get the car to that state which provides the buzz. You're trying to sell the style without the fun. If I was in the market for a tou...

It's a nice sorted useable car that somebody would like to give £1500 for, unlike yours ! What is the next challenge ? :D challe...

Re: to paint or not to paint??

Nothing quite like a broad sweeping brush. Personally I thought mine was constructive, if you want to sell it get rid of the rust and save bother by matching it to whatever was the original colour so door linings and engine bay etc match. If you can do it for a few quid then surely its a no brainer...

Re: to paint or not to paint??

Taylor how about even a wrap? As stating picking that brown, as nice as it is might be a dodgy move. If you decide to give it a paint I would suggest something safe your average schmuck will want. Failing this, id post up on some of the more specialised sites and even pages like ChizFab and Jumanji...
