I drive with the radio off just to hear the engine even clearer....I was always a turbo guy but now im a convert of big cc V8 naturally aspirated engines....power at any revs and any speed,,,,, :cool:

an average of 16mpg is harsh ….stretched my budget to buy one but been looking at them for a couple of years.....glad I bought it I just hope nothing breaks....
had it up to 23.4mpg on a motorway cruise at 80mph /1500rpm.....almost economical....

my other recent old cars.....A210 evolution with AMG pack and 2.1 litre engine......great car that handled like a gokart…..and my 3 litre turbo diesel with AMG pack , 4 pot Brembo etc and 270bhp....

seen a couple of E30's kicking about locally and it reminded me of this place, locally as in back in sunny Scotland...not melbourne but ive no idea how to change that....its looking a bit slicker than the last time I was on..... :D

yeah but you only have 123 posts so your opinions doesnt matter.
passionfords my favourite site, it gets quite heated and abusive on there sometimes and it makes for a far more interesting site.

depends on how much turbod power you have and how hard you drive it. iirc uprated discs. pads and fluid with the goodridge hoses was fine for my erratic driving style but prolonged abuse and you could feel them starting to fade.

i remember a few years back when you had to pay about £30 for a scrappy to take a car.
i dont think the real weight/size of a car makes much difference, ive scrapped several various cars/small vans and coincidentally every ones weighed exactly 1150kg on the scales.

£260? i didnt realise prices had went up so much recently. a couple of years ago it used to float around the £120-£150 for an average car.
