You obviously know your stuff reggid, but I think the point you are missing is this, the stock E30 325 [our car] was running a std motronic ecu with the flappy air flow unit, so we are looking at 30 year old technology with a processor that's works on egg timer speed. So by removing the restrictive...

Re: LPG-ists

Brian is right , the best time to fill up is early morning,it can make a difference albeit small. Bulk deliveries have a factor built in to compensate, over 2000 litres it makes a noticeable difference. We are all loving the prices at the moment...my last fill was 273 miles for £27.30 of lpg ...10pen...

Re: power flow exhausts

I agree with Pete, stainless on an auto is bloody tiresome. I had a powerflow back box on mine when i bought it and needless to say it was the first thing to go and replaced with mild Steel. the system on magpies E30 sounds great but its was also matted up to M50 when I heard it. Not sure how diffe...

aha, you only get that on the MIG welded parts Get What ???? these are MIG welded for 2 reasons first it less time consuming than TIG and second its stronger. Agree on the first point, but not the second. All welding wire either tig or MIG is either 304 or 316 stainless you can use 316 wire on both...

Re: M20B25 downdraft weber idf build ideas

Hi,theres no reason why you cant use your existing spark set up,the ECU is,nt clever enough to know there,s something wrong if the injector plugs are not connected and the ignition will run as normal. The only downside i can see is you will be running on the standard ignition map,not one that is opt...

Hi guys , here are a couple of pics of the P&P Ecu hot of the production line. Its a bit smaller than the stock ECU,it also has 2 x RS232 ports ,one is for the programming lead and the second is for a Digi dash which is soon to be released. Cheers Keith. you wont go wrong with 1mm,its easy to get from stockists being a common size, expect to pay around £25 for a 8x4 sheet,if they cut the sheet into a smaller size its more expensive.

Re: After Market Performance Exhausts Opinions/Experiences?

I am biased as i run a stainless steel exhaust franchise, but, a well designed system will give you improvements over standard..how much, well that depends. Your average downpipe back system with correctly spec,d tube size will increase performance ..you might get as much as 5 bhp, more like 2 or 3.Th...
