it could be the light switch itself, sometimes the variable switch goes(makes the interior illumination go bright and dark). try turning the lights on and off and turning the nob clockwise/anti-clockwise a few times. hopefully you'll see something happen, i'm not sure but i know the light switch con...

have you checked fuse number 28 this controlls the cigarette lighter, stereo, and windows(on door pin switch). it may be this, i've had a similar problem in the past where this fuse kept blowing and cutting my windows, lighter etc off. i never did track the problem down fully, solutions only worked ...

sounds like your lock's had it. it must be jammed in the unlock position somehow stopping the soleniod from locking it. if you cant use the lock now anyway you may aswell replace it, at least then you could lock it with a key and hopefully your solenoid wont be damaged so the central should start lo...

I had a very similar problem a few weeks back, i ended up replacing it with a brand new tank and all the hoses. It wasn't till i'd bought the new one back, took everything apart, and prep'd the new 1, that i noticed water(fuel) marks appeared to be coming from the pump and sender unit area on the to...

It will handle a whole lot better- considering the tyres should be wider, and the body's inability to roll, the only compromise you'll have to make will be a bumpier ride(lower profile tyres and stiffer springs), and it'll most likely feel a little slower(feel like its dragging between 0-10/20mph), ...

i would say its more likely to be an ignition problem. if you can get the car into gear and your clutch pedal is quite stiff- bleeding it wont make that much difference. sounds like timing, plugs/leads, but almost definately an electrical/ignition problem. i cant be 100% though.

That seems to have done the job lads! 8) i'm back on the road :) and sitting nice and low! The only thing i had to do was make a way of keeping the main coilover spring stand upright, thats the only reason i could find for the helper springs being there, just keeping the tension- so the main ...

Thanx alot guy's, i think i've sorted it. :? The FK setup on the front comes with 2 springs, i've been told i can remove the smaller ones-they're called helper springs which should give me an extra 40-50mm drop. If i do that, and use my 6mm spacers i should have more than enough clearance between th...

sorry mate,no pics yet. i'll get some taken asap. would the wider spacers not cause the tyres to rub the arches instead? :? good advice though its very much appreciated, its annoying not having my e30 back on the road yet! :-x :x . i'm gonna go and try some of these solutions now, so keep an ...

coilover adjusters rubbing tyres.

Hi, i just installed a set of FK coilovers on my e30 and the adjusters on the front set rub against my tyres- if i have them set any lower than a third of the way down the thread. Any suggestions!? :? i've tried using 6mm spacers and they still rub :-x . it seems the only other solution is to find s...
