Yeah, I'd quite like it all working as it should. It's a standard fit item. I guessed it had an internal battery that was finished. I'll try and replace the battery first before doing anything more drastic. Thanks for the help.

No it's all nice and dry. Wasn't working at all when I bought the car, replaced, lasted about 6 months then that 'stuck on'. Current one's been in over a year- no probs touch wood. Dealer wanted around Ã‚£60 IIRC, got a second hand one for under a tenner. I thought it was common!

wings still factory originals, no signs of damage, still original sealant around A pillar base.
Door definately too far forward because the panel gap between the front and rear doors is too big.

Have now replaced all 4 discs and pads, all ECP and GSF parts. I'm sick to the back teeth with pissing brake squeal. What's the scope of adjustment on the doors? It's not a Renault 'doors off and sledge hammer' effort is it?

The box from a Sport will be a 'switchable' box, ie the one which needs the 3 way switch fitted on the centre console. If your car has a non-switchable box it's not compatible.

Good guy, very friendly. Bought my tech II bodykit with absolutely no messing around, which is a rare novelty these days!!
