s50 gets my vote but i think its a little more complicated. (expensive) but it sound awesome and flys.
if moneys no issue m52 plus turbo will be alot of fun.

mine touched whilst jacked up but when on the ground left me with a 1cm gap, didnt feel comfortable with it so i ended up using spacers on the arb mounts, now i have 3cm.
but some people dont have problems i did.

can someone recommend a good setup for suspension. its a m3 with s50b32 6 speed.
front looks a little low and i can feel every thing on the road.
i want a stock height or maybe a little drop. (roads are shit)
improved handling is a must.

update on walbro.
it didnt generate enough pressure on its own so i had to use the stock inline pump aswell.
need to find a better solution for the pump

connectied inline pump and she fired up straight away, the walbro is not enough on its own, maybe do as a replacment for intank but will definatly need a inline. there is a big pressure difference between the walbro and inline, my return pipe has started to allow fuel back now. sorted for now, but n...

i disconnected the fuel pump and sprayed some carb cleaner in the intake plenum, the car started very rough but it was running for a few. so its definatly the fuel. i replaced the regulator and.. it still wouldnt return fuel.. i think dan is right it is a low pressure problem I was replying to your ...

i see your point, i need to buy a pressure tester. i have a new walbro 255 in tank, i was under the presumption it would be more than adequate. do you know of a way to test the pressure without buying a tester?

on the intank pump bracket (e30) one is for a feed to engine and the other is a return. i dont know about the e36 pump/bracket.

i managed to get my carsoft working and its pulling code 162, which after a quick search brings up camshaft syncronization, any idea what it could be? camshaft sensors? or could vanos solenoid cause this?

i have no idea, i checked spark, by grounding the plugs and turning it over, they sparked. the spark plugs smell of fuel. i pulled the fuel pipe going to rail it was letting fuel out when i turned the key.

i used a walbro 255 intank, bracket needed to be modified a little. (shorten supply line on bracket, cut mounting bracket for old pump off, secure with steel cable ties.) this was because the walbro pump was taller than the original unit. i removed external pump, replaced with a 12mm to 8mm reducer ...
