Bought an m20 sump, really good seller at good rates, really happy with the quality of the part. Really quick delivery too.
Thanks!

XXRS to choose.
I'm not sure which wheels to go for, I want to either go for 16x8 ET0 or 17x8 ET0. I'm looking for a pokey look, let me know if 17x8 will rub then I can prepare my fenders to be rolled. This is what I'm looking at so far - http://www.srbpower.com/products/XXR-002-PACKAGE-16x8-ET0-4x100%7B47%7D114-SI...

Clutch Pedal
For some reason my clutch pedal can retract all the way up but the only thing that stops it is the plastic head cap that sits on top of the pin on the clutch master cylinder. The problem with that is if I lift my foot off the clutch too fast it will come off the master cylinder which results in it n...

Re: High idle 1.2k
I just read a thread about a possible purple/grey wire on the loom being fed 12v and telling the ECU the air con is on even though I don't have air con.
Could this also be a possibility? Would it really cause such an increase in rpm at idle?

Re: High idle 1.2k
When I did the engine conversion I was sure to replace the inlet manifold gaskets and the throttle body gaskets. So that can't be it. Blue sensor is definitely a possibility. Throttle position too. I think it's wise to try the cam cover gasket and the filler cap as they would probably be the cheapes...

High idle 1.2k
I've got an E30 316i with a 325i m20 engine in it. I'm currently getting high idle, sits around 1.2k rpm. I suspected it to be the IAC valve, however tried a different one and it's the same result. There's no splits in the major intake hoses, there's a few in some of the breather hoses however they'...

Had to get a complete new loom from an E30 320i tourin and have now put it all in. Without connecting all the coolant hoses up and bodging the intake system together quickly I turned it over and after a few cranks boom! it fires up. Had to turn it off right away due to no exhaust so it was mega loud...

M20 wiring loom
Hey guys, I just wanted to know if the wiring loom on the E30 325i is the same as the E30 320? As I received a loom with my M20 engine from an E30 325i but the loom is pretty much fucked with broken connections. I just want to know if I could use either one? if so does anyone have one they'd be will...

Re: E30 316i to E30 325i
I found out the diff I think is 4.1, apparently the ratio on the E30 325i is 3.75,
wouldn't it give me better acceleration just leaving the diff in I have now, of course I understand top end will be sacrificed.

The diff I think is just the standard diff from a 316i from the E30, not entirely sure which one, I'll try and find out. I agree with my brakes, they need doing anyway, ideally I want to keep drums on the back as I go to santa pod for skid events so drums are better for locking up the back wheels. W...

Oh really? I have a cold start issue where if it's cold it will run like crap, if the revs are low and you try pull off it will cut out, you have to blip the throttle and then try and pull away. When it warms up, I assume the 02 sensor kicks in and it runs fine. I've checked for vaccum leaks and rep...
