Re: Q plate car.... would you buy one?
hmmm some good points worth noting, I need to find out more details yet of the car. All I know is it has loads of history, probably was a re-shell or re built from lots of used parts. Done some homework and it comes down to 1995 if I put the reg number in on the internet. I presume this is when it w...

Q plate car.... would you buy one?
I generally know the history of why cars have been given a Q plate. But has anyone bought / owned one?
My thought is it has probably been far more intensley scrutinised before being put back on the road than most cat c's that you see on ebay.
Cheap bargain, or nightmare?
Whats the general opinion?

I will thank youbeemerbird wrote:Rollergirl
My advice for you would be to put together a list of requirements for your E30 and post them in the 'Cars and Parts Wanted' section.
And then wait.
thats my bank holiday off planned, what wedding ......... xx

Re: Newbie looking for an E30 - what should I look for???
what about this one on piston heads, anyones on here?
Love the look of this one £1500 long MOT and 'oustanding condition', seems a little cheaply priced, or is this about right? I know you would need to have a good poke around etc
whats everyone thoughts?

Re: Newbie looking for an E30 - what should I look for???
You'll be familiar with rust having run old VWs (especially the mk3 golf), so it shouldnt put you off very true :) I'm never put off by a little rust, its character & comes with age. It happens to us all at some point. I'll hold my hand up to having let it go a little with age. Its taken me age and...
