do it once do it right. if it starts of like that then its esay to spot any problems and makes life so much esayer to work on. nothing worse than having to work on a dirty correded engine.

uprated but not lowered suspension
building the 316 for road rallies and auto test and want a uprated spring set but dont want to lower it, 15/20mm would be ok but no lower. whats out there? could i use the springs from a 6pot car on the front and touring springs on the rear? just want to stiffen it up a bit what about anti roll bars...

so if i used some adjustable top mounts there should be enough to get the goemetry back in spec? or would i need to make some top mounts?
i'll keep a eye out for some rear arms a bit more local to silverstone.

being new to bmw i was wondering if there was usch a thing as a wide track conversion useing parts from the rest of the range. being from the vw world the commen trick with golfs is to use a corrado rear beam and passat front wishbones which gives you about 25mm each side. reason for asking is i hav...

slight change in plan as the road rallie regs will only let me run a single duel barrel carb so will prob go with a 38dgav, think it has a 32/36 on it now so i'll see what thats like. should still be able to get 130bhp with a single carb?

been haveing a look round but cant seem to find anything , does any one do fiberglass panels for the e30? wings, bonnet and boot lid. inside i'm stripping it out and putting some decent buckets in and poss a cage so i wnat to be able to offset the wieght of the cage with some lighter panels. cheers ...

now i know most will say put a bigger more powerfully motor in but i'm going to stick with the m10 unit. so the plan is to get hold of another long block and rebuild it. up the c/r a bit , bigger cam, port the head, 3 angle seats etc and put a pair of 40's on it. what i'm looking for is any info on ...
