rear wheel bearing

What special tools are needed to remove replace rear wheel bearings. I know how to do the job but is there a puller required or is it best to take the hubs off to a garage with a press

Re: Pad sensors

I've fitted new pad sensors and the warning light is still on. Are there any other common problems that would cause this.

rear fog

Hi I have front and rear fog switch. The front works. My question is does my e30 325 touring have a rear fog light. The dash light doesn't light with the switch. Which fuse and relay does it run off the same as the front fogs?

Pad sensors

Checking my pads i noticed the sensors are just loose on the pad. Is there a clip that should be there to secure it to the pad. If there is mine is missing and would this come with new sensors or do i need to order them separate.

Also can you still buy new bumper mouldings

Pad wear sensor

Did the timing belt over the last 2 days a long job but not too hard. Now the next issue is the pad wear light on. I have checked the pads front and rear and they are fine. I disconnected the 2 sensors and the light still stays on. Is this a common problem. There isn't a sensor on the handbrake shoe...

Just reading the thread it's not clear whether you leave the tensioner loose so it tensions belt as it stretches or if you tighten it back up. Can anyone answer the question

Cheers for the advise I was a mechanic for 4 years when I was young so head gaskets ets I don't mind but am a virgin when it comes to bodywork. So the advice is to get a good body touring and source the kit after. Cheers
