which is the best e46 rack to get? m3? or are they all the same?

when im messing with sheet metal i got hold of a girder and use it as an anvil. works well with a hammer and abit of heat. good progress so far

very clean engine, looks nice. shame you didnt keep track of the full rebuild on here..

unlucky about your sump dude, mines silly low at the moment luckily for me im not driving atm so ive not had chance to smash it haha

hopefully ill have a sump guard sorted before i get insured lol

loving this dude, i spoke to you on tramp drift as i also have a e30 on rota grid v's have you only spaced the fronts 20mm or did you go 20mm all round as my rotas wouldnt fit on the front as they caliper touches, ive gone 15mm on the front and 25mm on the back. going to keep my eye on this one :cool:

Hey guys i bought my first e30 on saturday and i love it although the suspension makes it drive like a boat.. What true coilover options do i have? cheers motorhole, my plan is to do all the e36 mods the same time i get my coilovers, im going to go for hsd coilovers as pound for pound there the best, will i still use the hsd camber plates or will i have to use the standerd e30 ones? ive also been told that the rear turrets might need strengthan...

Hi guys ive seen alot of talk about using E36 M3 parts on e30s to improve turning circles etc Im going to be buying a e30 very soon and i want to swap the older dated parts as soon as possible as ill be buying HSD coilovers for it What e36 bits can i use? Power steering rack, hubs, coilovers, wishbo...

or i could even use a supercharger with a electronic cluch? maybe a mercades eaton???

all fair points raised, the reason i wanted a s/c is because its something i havnt had before, i could go down the turbo route but i like trying something new :) how do the 1.8is respond to turbos? any links to any guides, im handy at rebuilding stuff if i have the tecnical info to go with it buildi...

cheers guys, my e46 came with a 2.3 m52tu engine which lost oil pressure so i changed it to a m52tu 2.8 so im familiar with these engines but the 2.8 doesnt half drink surely a 1.8/1.9 supercharged engine at crusing speeds is more eco than a thirsty 2.8? what turbo options do i have? how does the 1....
