Hey guys
Got to the bottom of the problem, turns out someones fitted the elec windows as an after thought on my car , they're wired straight off the battery and whoever crimped the terminals clearly did it blind folded.

Electric Windows Intermitant
Can anybody help me? my Elec windows have all of a sudden become intermitant. no fuses blown and both pack up at the same time.
any ideas where i should start looking? its an 83 chromie

Which ones should i go for?
hi guys im looking at lowering the chromie and im on a tight budget so would anybody suggest any of these coilover kits? I've got a set of the JOM's on my vectra supertouring and they're pretty good but im not sure on these as mines an 83 e30 and it says these may not fit? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PRO-...

Keep the chrome! I think that the problem is that the side window trim is best described as 'difficult' to source. The trim is fairly easy to remove with a little paitence, but replacing the chrome with black (shadowline trim) :eek: Your car, your choice but imo a ill thought out idea. Why not buy a later model to start with? Did you buy the car because its was cheap, wikid 4 driftin' init or a love of the shap...

Lad round the corner from me is running BMW mini 15" steels banded out to 8j front and 9j rear on his E30. Rears fit perfectly fronts need a spacer of around 10-15mm.
