Cylinder Identification Sensor (CID)
hi guys just bought a set of aftermarket spark plug leads for my m40 1.8 they do not come with CID, my question is how do i fit the original CID to the new lead. i have also heard you can leave it disconnected , but does that affect the running of the engine or fuel economy .

You do know the electric windows should work when the front doors are open, a comfort relay powers them up when the door is open. Thanks for the re...

Re: Any experiences of these? Gates racing m20 timming belt
cost £26.42 not including shipping from usa, £15.12 for standard belt from GSF. so if you fitted the Kevlar belt would the belt change interval be extended. and kevlar is used in making bullet proof vests so you could say my engine is bullet proof if you had the belt fitted LOL  :shoot1:

Re: number plate delete panel
US spec. E30s use the same bumper as the rest of the world, but different rubber strips, with a separate bumper mounting plate. I've no idea exactly what they look like, or if they suit your needs, but possibly worth looking into. Seems strange to me as well that you've had damaged number plates. O...

due to having 2 number plates cracked due to numpty drivers using my bumper as when to stop reversing when parking, iv moved the plate to under the bumper, is their a panel that covers the holes left behind or do i just fill them in and smooth it out. http://imageshack.us/a/img405/8092/e30j7dus.jpg

you can cut a bit of the old strip to fill the gap. (I've done this myself.) This is what I normally do - cut a piece of spare strip to fit in either side of the shrunk one. Doesn't look bodged at all, as it gives the impression of being bits of corner trim. im a twat i chucked the old one in the b...
