Re: Crossover question
the crossovers are matched to the mids by the manufacture to get the best out of the speakers, why not install them behind the centre console, as for amps, if you are happy with the sound and output from the head unit then leave alone.

Its in excellent condition still on its trx wheels, but with the usual rotten rear bumper quarter on drivers side. I am going to use it as my daily driver until I h...

you can fit mdf speaker rings if your magnets are too deep, leave the grills off or cut them so the speaker grill sticks through the kick panel. You can buy speaker builds that fit to the door cards, all depends on budget and aim.

there are grommets, or you can drill through and install a grommet, see you want to put a sub in the boot, you could put a 325i wiring loom so you can have a battery in the boot for your sub amp and run a power lead from that battery back to the head unit on the opposite side to your low input lead/...

You might find the manual rack ok with the m10 but with the m52 you might be surprised how much harder it is at parking speeds, my 325i chromie has a manual rack and though I prefer the feel of the manual rack at speed, sometimes I wish it had pas! new rubber hose, spare calliper, wd40 type stuff, c-clamp to work the piston back in, brake bleed kit, brake spanner. If your having to travel distance, why not get a refurb calliper and put that on, should n't be more than £60, job done. You could get a second-hand calliper of someone on here and c...

you need to run your tweeter's through a cross-over or have your tweeter's have a resister in the speaker line?, usually there is wiring for the optional fit tweeters taped off on the door behind the cover.

What is your authority for the proposition that you don't own your car, the government does? Is it something that has a rational basis, or did you dream it on a magic mushroom trip? It has always been the case that the v5 only means you are the registered keeper. If you paid for the car then yes it is yours, but in court you would need other proof. Balls is it not. So yes the goverment can seize your car and get away with it. Hi Zaust, Sorry, I am confused, if I am the owner t...
