i would reccomend one of them wild chips as i fitted one in mine a few weeks back. car is standard apart from a induction kit.
makes a big difference higher up the revs and is much more responsive.
seems to have made it better on fuel aswell if you drive normal.

when driving my 325 normally over bumps ect there is no knocking or noise but sometimes when i get the wheels spinning theres a loud bangin noise coming from the back end. thought it was the exhaust at first so go it looked at and my mate says its fine. felt like it could be the probs hitting the fl...

its lowered but not by much. but will be getting dropped 60mm.
love the pics.
was thinking of selling mine until i seen the wheels i want and them pics look awesome.

ebay coilovers?

ive seen some coilovers on ebay that are just over £200
seems cheap to me just wondered has anyone used them before and are they any good?
or would i be better off buying some second hand adjustables with 60mm springs.

ive seen some 8x15 deep dish steelies on ebay that iam thinking of buying but ive never seen a e30 on wides steels and want to see what they look like.
will they fit under the archs ok on 195/50/15s?

i go every month. always a good selection of cars there. its a american car club but over the years theres more and more old skool fords, veedubs ect turning up. normally about 100 ish cars turn up.
its the car park next to toys r us/mcdonalds/pizza hut.
well worth a look if you are doing nowt.

does anyone from the north east go to the metrocentre meet on the 2nd wednesday of the month?
its this week. i know its mostly yank stuff but seem a lovely red e30 325 sport there an a nice 5 series a few weeks back.
wouldnt mind a bit of advice on what to do with my 325 if anybody is there.

securing battery?

the battery in the boot of my e30 is just wedged in with wood which seems to work ok but how is it suppose to be strapped down?
any ideas or pictures how i can secure it

engine is really healthy. just fitted one of them wild chips off here and makes quite a difference! bit more top end but so much more responsive! best £35 ive spent. got a strange knock coming from the back end when i launch it so going to try and find out what the problem is tommorrow. also need to...

cant see myself in a auto. would rather have a coupe to be honest as i like the look of them and can get a nice one for around 3.5k which seems alot of car for the money.

the brakes on my 325 seem really crap. it has new discs allround (off when i bought it) and am guessing new pads. they work fine i suppose for normal driving but i intend on doing a trackday and dont think they will last 2 minutes. they just dont seem very sharp if you know what i mean. am after a c...

yeah polished up canny. could do with a lsd and the brakes looking at before goes anywhere near a track though.
was tempted to put a mtec 2 kit on it but dont want to spend to much on bodywork. would rather make it go and stop better.

sold my last e30 in january as it needed to much work but still got a soft spot for them and another one came up local ish for not alot of money so snapped it up. its got 155k but engine runs really sweet,pulls well too. new discs and pads alround (but they still feel a bit crap?) aparently new suse...

he says he only had to put a bit oil in as it was almost full.
so looks like its fucked.
was told it was a good one but was also told that the wheels i bought aswell where good depite them needing 3 tyres and one of them was buckled.
lookin like it will end up on pistonheads :cry:

he had some 75/90 in his garage. sounds like theres none in though. never heard a diff whine as much as this but probs sounds a bit louder as ive stripped the interior and carpet out.
the welded diff didnt make noise just made the car crap on the road.

ive got the old welded diff so could i use the sensor out of that? it worked fine before lastnight.
as for the diff i will check the oil tommorrow. i asked my mate who fitted it to top the oil up and am now hoping he forgot haha. the noise goes away if am not on the accelerator
