Hi Andrew, Not quite. Its to do with the bulbs running at a lower temp, and if you have snow/ice on the lamp a halogen would melt this, but a Xenon bulb wont. Hi Rusty, i think its something to do with keeping your glass lens clean to reduce glare, as they reckon that dirty headlight lens will cause glare to other drivers

i dont think you need a special glass lens, i make and sell angel eyes and i use a standard glass lens, unless your glass lens is shaped in some way to allow for your angel eye, then if not you should be fine with a standard glass lens

i was looking at the quaife lsd, but i was told that you wouldnt really notice any difference unless your driving hard and pushing your car to the limits, how much this is true i cant say
